We understand that starting therapy can bring up several questions about logistics, fees, and policies. We've compiled the most frequent questions we receive here to help you get the information you need quickly.

What can I do if I am in a crisis?

Sana-mente Therapy Center is NOT a crisis service and we are not able to immediately respond to you.

If you are in imminent danger of harming yourself or others, OR experiencing a life-threatening emergency or crisis situation, please contact either:

  • 911 (Emergency Services)

  • 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline)

  • Your local or national crisis hotline.

Do you take insurance?

At this time, you will need to contact us using the form on the website to review if we are able to provide you services through your specific insurance plan. We will verify your benefits and let you know the next steps.

Do you offer a sliding scale fee or membership?

Yes, we do offer a sliding scale fee.

Some reduced fees are available for uninsured clients who are highly motivated, low-income, students, and elderly.

We also offer a membership option. To inquire about the reduced fee options or the membership program, please contact us directly.

Do you offer in-person therapy sessions?

At this time, our sessions are mostly virtual. We will keep you informed if this changes and we begin offering in-person sessions.

What can I do if I need to cancel my appointment?

Please be aware that we do have a No Show/Cancellation Policy.

  • Please make sure to contact us to cancel or modify appointments with at least a 24-hour notice.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged a late cancellation fee.

We understand that things may come up that prevent you from keeping your appointment. If you have a true emergency, please contact us so we can help.
